This site is owned by Kentucky Divorce Law Consulting LLC whose member, Diana L. Skaggs, is a member of the law firm of Diana L. Skaggs + Partners, PLLC. Skaggs is A.V. rated by Martindale-Hubbell. In practice for more than 30 years, Skaggs is a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML), a former member of its Board of Governors and was the 2007-2009 President of the Kentucky Chapter. In 2011 she was honored to be elected a Diplomate of the American College of Family Trial Lawyers, a national organization of 100 divorce litigators and the only member from Kentucky. She was selected for inclusion in 2008-2015 Best Lawyers in America, in the field of family law (Copyright 2015 Woodard/White,Inc. of Aiken, S.C.). Diana was also named in the 2007-2015 editions of Super Lawyers as being among the top 5% of family lawyers and from 2007-2012 one of the top 25 women attorneys in Kentucky across all fields of practice. In January 2006, she was honored by the Louisville Bar Association with the Richard A. Revell Family Law Award for being in the forefront of new developments in the practice of family law in addition to exhibiting dedication to families and children, public service, and innovation in her practice. In 2010 she received the "Raising the Bar Award" from the Kentucky Chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers.

Skaggs’ extensive litigation experience enhances the ability of her firm to pursue reasonable settlements to avoid trial. Two attorneys in the firm are trained in collaborative family law and share a commitment to strive for settlement at the earliest possible time. All attorneys also participate in high quality, continuing, national family law education. Furthermore, Skaggs has been a frequent lecturer to other family law attorneys. She is also a family law arbitrator, certified by the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers.

While Skaggs concentrates her own practice in complex financial, tax, business valuation, and extensive property family law issues, her firm represents a range of individuals with family law issues such as child custody and parenting plans, spousal and child support, and division of retirement assets. Several of their appellate cases have created important precedent in Kentucky.
