Something that is largely left out of the debate is something quite relevant -- polygamy.

Some religions advocate polygamy, but no state sanctions it. There are laws against it, and they apply to all, despite their religious beliefs.

Isn't it an affront to freedom of religion for the government to deny people such a traditional marriage scheme as one man with many wives?
