Diana, that's really interesting that you don't mind the mediator being a dog with a bone because rightly or wrongly most of us feel ownership at the end of a mediation. I don't think its ego, we just want to leave no waste (in the form of missed opportunities for resolution) and we want to see things through to whatever end the parties decide...it's when we have to bow out before we get there because parties/lawyers/time are against you staying in ...
